American Association of Petroleum Landmen

Established in 1956, the AAPL represents some 17,000 landmen and land-related people. The organization serves as a voice for the profession and seeks to foster industry cooperation through proactive legislative advocacy.

The mission of the AAPL is to promote the highest standards of performance for all land professionals, to advance their stature and to encourage sound stewardship of energy and mineral resources.
