Nebraska State Oil and Gas References

The Nebraska Oil and Gas Conservation Commission was founded in 1959 to foster, encourage and promote the development, production and utilization of natural resources of oil and gas in the state and is the state regulatory agency covering oil and gas exploration and production.

Their goal is to prevent waste, protect correlative right of all owners, and encourage and authorize secondary recovery, pressure maintenance, cycling, or recycling, in order that the greatest ultimate recovery of oil and gas may be obtained within the state while protecting the environment.
